- Diecast vehicles, including but not limited to space shuttles, tractors, airplanes, cars, tow trucks, and buses
- Lego blocks
- Plastic cookie cutters
- Crayons
- Hundreds of baby wipes now that they’ve all been pulled out of the container
- Marbles
- Linty Band-Aids
- Beads
- Hard plastic princess dresses
- Pretend bolts and screws
- Wooden train tracks
- Animal figurines, usually the ones with pointy parts like stegosaurs or sharks
- Dried shards of play dough
- Books
- Wooden puzzle pieces but never the flat ones – just the ones with the knobs on them
- Marker caps
- My Little Ponies and their sharp little ears
- Tupperware lids
- Random wet spots
- Goldfish crackers
- Pipe cleaners with all the fuzz rubbed off that MUST NOT BE PUT IN THE TRASH BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY SPECIAL
- Really useful engines from Sodor
- Action figures and their jabby little hands and feet (and Ariel’s hair since my dog chewed off her hands and feet)
- Uninflated balloons stuck together with graham cracker-infused spit
